But when they learn about some deception within their ranks will Logan and the rest of the men be able to keep Savannah safe?

This is a great read that leaves you in a cliff-hanger that makes you swear up and down!

My heart just went out to Savannah that she had to go through so much as a prisoner and then not knowing who possibly could have deceived her. She is tough and not afraid after awhile of speaking her mind once she feels safe. I was so mad at what was done to her by one guy and I was glad she found a safe place.

Logan was awesome and I loved the little twist with him. He was so protective of Savannah and had never felt this way about anyone before. Yet he was also crossing a "work" line and was in uncharted territory. I was glad he gave Savannah a place to escape.

I loved the gradual relationship between the two and how they each learned to rely on the other and trust.

The ending was so heartbreaking and OMG I can't even explain what my heart went through. I am so excited to read the next one as I know the author can't leave me hanging like this!! By Rebecca

I couldn't get enough of this book! I didn't put it down in the first read. Not one minute. I ended up finishing books 2 and 3 within the next two days. If you like mystery, suspense and a little bit of darkness....J.L. Drake will be your new best friend. This author has such a unique style of writing that you don't see often. She has a way of immersing you in the scenes and situations without being too wordy. Her description and detail is so intense you can actually see the movie playing out in your mind. And INTENSE is the best way to describe this book. You think you see the next thing coming and then the author takes a sharp left. This book made my stomach lurch in angst, made my face ugly cry and had me laughing out loud many times over. By the time I was finished I felt like Savi and Cole were the best friends I always wanted and Blackstone is brotherhood I wished I had.

This is my second time to read this book and it felt like my first. The story sucked me in and I couldn't put it down.
As the daughter of the mayor, Savi just wants to have a normal life without the media hounding her every move. Her mother passed when she was younger and ever since she has yearned for her father's approval. Unfortunately she is kidnapped, broken, treated like dog and beaten by the Cartel for seven horrible months.
Cole and his team of badass military men come to her rescue. Cole lives for the job and always in control until Savi. He finds himself drawn to her like a magnet.

"I’ve already crossed a line I should never have crossed. Call me weak, but I’m drawn to you and I’ve never felt this way before.”

After everything Savi has been through she can't let her guard down or get too comfortable. But she is unable to control her attraction to Cole and is mesmerized by him. She finally finds happiness but is it meant to last?

"If this is a dream—it is the best dream ever."

I loved the house banter between the men and Savi. They truly cared for her like a sister. Holy hell the ending will tear you apart. We experience pain, loss, suspense, happiness, love and jealousy in this book.
If your looking for a hot as hell, dominating military man who will protect the one he loves till his last breath, you definitely need to read this book.
